do i need an IPVanish (i dont want to have to spend any money tbf) or is this just SEO Michael's way of making money off his site?

also, i get a purchase error when trying to install the (free!) downloader app. any ideas? (other than setting up a billing address, why the f*** do i need that for a free app)

"Purchase failure. For your convenience, all purchases are completed with your amazon 1 click settings. We could not complete your purchase because you do not have a valid payment billing address set up in your amazon account. please update your billing address"

Yep, SEO Michael is how I did it. Works perfectly.

You'll need ES File Explorer. From there you can download Kodi and install the add ons. Google SEO Michael and you'll get guides for everything you need <ok>. When installing Kodi don't use wizards, just install the add ons you actually need like Exodus and Phoenix. Otherwise it's practically unusable when 50 add ons start updating themselves.

Totally agree, great for TV and films, absolutely dire for live sport.

In my opinion Kodi is crap for footy now. It used to be superb but the quality has went to s*** these days and lots of good streams are now unavailable. I have fibre broadband now and it makes no difference o the quality, Kodi is still good for tv and movies but again more s**** appearing lately. <fist>

It doesn't work that well for me. I'm using it in an android m8s box and it's connected to virgin media fibre via Ethernet

The Bob add on is meant to be pretty good too <ok>. It's kind of like what Phoenix was before it went s***.

My mate uses SportsDevil - I've not used it but he says it's good.
Had it installed but never tried it. Just got Sky Sports 1 working through it <awe>

If by "works a treat" you mean "doesn't f***ing work at all" then I totally agree <ok>.
Works fine for me, better than my jailbroken apple tv maybe it's your internet.

I like kodi for TV and movies, it's pretty awful for live sport though in my experience.

Buy a cheap laptop, put Kodi on it for TV shows and movies and get AceStreams for sports. Link it to your TV with HDMI if you want to or just watch it on your laptop screen.

No arseing about with TV boxes or whatever, plus you have a laptop <notbad>
