Firstly, no need for a comment like that (I despair at people's key board warrior attitudes). Secondly, not bed wetting, looking at the fact that we have been wildly unconvincing of late and have not having played any of our closest rivals. This month will be telling at those who can't see that are being rather short sighted.
Come on man, it was tongue in cheek and as I understand it, a keyboard warrior is someone who says things they wouldn't say in real life, right? Well I'd happily call plenty of Newcastle fans "bedwetters" to their face.

Police officer "Tell me what happened here"

You "Well, he called me a bedwetter"

PO: "And"

You "And so I knocked his bloody block off"

<laugh>

It's hardly the insult of all insults so let's have a little perspective here!

Right, now that has all been cleared up, do any of you have anything to say now about our promotion chances? I'll stand by what I said in that we will definitely get promoted, do some of you still doubt that?
I think we'll get promoted, whether that be as Champions or in second place. I'm not too arsed which one it is, I just don't want the play-offs as I think we'd bottle it.

Do we bump this again when we have a few bad performances? It can be our new "doomsayers" thread. <awe>

Good idea to take him off but he's proven himself to be reliable. Wouldn't have won either game without his contributions.
I'm not sure we're watching the same Mitrovic. <scratch>
For the little ones he does. Gets a push in the back and just puts his arms out. Murphy came on, got pushed and went to ground. Mitro is too theatric when he does go to ground.

He has every right to go for it, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be penalised when he's second to it. Add to that the protection that goalkeepers get when getting hands on a ball, and the fact he manages to follow through onto his ankle and I can't see how you can argue it's not a booking.

that second incident he has every right to go for the ball, this is what annoys me in modern football, so many are looking for sinister intentions in incidental moments, if 2 people are going for the same ball there is a really high chance there is going to be some kind of contact and someone is going to lose out on the ball, we see these as split second incidents on slow motion replays then come to the conclusion the player has used his superhuman thought process and reflexes to make a 0.02 second decision to put in a sinister challenge.

Agreed. I think the yellow he actually got was for the first foul - I think the referee saw the swing of an arm. What he got booked for wasn't even a foul to me, just the referee making up for previous. Like I said in the matchday thread though, I think the foul on the keeper is a definite second yellow.

As a result of the cards we swapped a striker for a winger .
Agreed, he should know better by now. We dont need a liability in our team that could see us go down to 10 at any moment or force us to sub them off especially with the run of games over the next month or so.

I like Mitro and want him to do well but he doesnt do himself any favours. Gayle cant come back quick enough

The second one Mitro is merely stood there and the defender climbs up over his back.

why wouldnt a player check to see where the opposition player is stood? first one was him holding off the defender, and the second one, are you for real?

Was more to do with the ref than him being erratic and ill tempered. Constantly having fouls given against him , yellow card was the softest I'd seen and nearly got sent off for that lunge which probably was a yellow but he never should have been on one in the first place.

I'd agree with that, a really decent away performance. At home we've been taking a one goal lead and just stopping attacking, putting ridiculous amounts of pressure on our defense. Yesterday we kept some possession higher up the park and didn't look anywhere near as panicky.
Defence was brilliant. I thought we were very poor going forward and keeping the ball. I think our luck came in the form of Mitrovic not being sent off for that lunge on their keeper. Baldock got a second yellow for Brighton against us for something not too dissimilar. I'd have been livid if that had been the other way on.

Colback was woeful , genuinely winced everytime he got the ball. The referee was an utter disgrace first half , gave everything their way. At half time it was as if someone had took him to one side and told him how obvious it was because he seemed more balanced second half. The standard on show was terrible but we defended resolutely and a win is a win.

The 2 Wolves fans in the tier above us at the end carrying on calling everyone out for a scrap at the end was so cringey. Bring on Norwich on Tuesday!
I saw those guys, looked like a right couple of idiots. There were stewards stood right next to them doing **** all.
The dirty bastard on the left spat at least four times as well. Must be really tough lads. Tossers.
