Re: The Message of Hate Thread

Programming code that's been around since the 80s. <roll> It's confusing and my lecturer is my age. Whenever I ask why something is there his response is 'it just is' aka I haven't got a clue what I'm doing. Coding is a foreign language to me! It's hard to teach I guess, all I'd say is stackoverflo...

Re: The Message of Awe Thread

Following the toilet chat, we've got bidet sprays fitted in our house (not Muslim but the lasses parents are). It's great, feel so much cleaner (and it's quicker). How do you hose down your arse without drenching yourself? 1) you spray from below 2) you aim 3) dry your arse with paper after It work...

I'm over 30 so have no idea what C++ is, sounds like a grade.

I was trying to do nicer match day threads and everyone shouted me down in favour of Toondes because we happened to win a few when he did them. Superstitious fools <laugh>

Re: Match day - Huddersfield v NUFC

Huddersfield fan here. I thought you executed a daring game plan very well. The concept of coming and counter attacking and letting us have the ball is one that for a lot would not pay off. I thought the second goal (yes it was fair) was a moment that showed why we shouldn't be at this position but...

Re: Match day - Huddersfield v NUFC

I wanted Huddersfield to come up with us but now I hope they crash and burn. The way their supporters have went on has been ridiculous to almost Sunderland levels of awfulness, the f***ing stupid clapper things and whistles and horns they blew throughout the game irritated me, as did the PA announc...

Re: Match day thread - Brighton & HA v NUFC

Our first goal was amazing, love it.
Regarding the pen, Clarke was holding and therefore fouling him. I don't blame the ref for giving that one, just want other refs to do the same

He's an employee, he wasn't a Leicester out of charity. He did a very good job, then a very bad job, so they sacked him (no doubt with a big payoff).

Re: Parking

Traffic on match days can be awful. I'd recommend the park and ride Metro at either Northumberland Park and Callerton Parkway.

But I am from South of the river though, so take that into consideration

Re: Who's getting Relegated?

Sunderland, Palace and Hull. This. Although I wouldn't be surprised if Leicester went down, it's almost as if they're predestined to make history by being the only team to go down the following season after winning the league . Bias aside - Sunderland deserve it, and have done for ages. Our gifts o...

Found a good fishmonger near my new place. Have fresh hard shell crab so we can (and have) made chilli crab. So much sweeter when fresh.

Forgot to buy a nut cracker so improvised with hands and a small hammer <laugh>
