Re: Holidays

It was an overweight local man who snored, so it wasn't the best experience <laugh> But it was only 8 hours and I just slept on the next bus. If I was earning and on a month holiday I would for sure fly but the difference in cost was over $100 which is like 20 nights of hostels for me. Reading that...

Re: Holidays

Er I'd rather pay more and get a mode of travel that doesn't involve sharing a bed with a stranger (although if it was a fit woman I could be persuaded...). Other than that it sounds good tho <cheers> It was an overweight local man who snored, so it wasn't the best experience <laugh> But it was onl...

Re: Holidays

Left Cambodia yesterday, in Bangkok, Thailand right now and tomorrow morning I'll be in Vientiane in Laos. All for the price of $47. Though the sleeper bus from Phnom Penh to the Poipet border with Thailand was <erk> you have to share a bed with a complete stranger if you're a solo traveller <laugh>

Re: Pavel's eBar

Had a chat with a recruiter this morning for a position based in Luxembourg and I was generally interested but he refused to tell me exactly what the company does so I managed to wangle out of him the company name and the role title. A very quick search later and I found the job listing on the comp...

Age is obviously a factor... Wlad obviously isn't what he used to be. Looked gassed in mid rounds in the Fury fight - because he had to actually move for once and be the aggressor. He couldn't cope with Fury's reach as it was something he'd never come up against. This won't be the case in this figh...

Re: WEEKEND FOOTBALL - 7 to 10 APRIL 2017

Arsenal are a joke now, think Wenger is too stubborn to walk away its going to end in a messy sacking <erk> I think he'll walk away at the end of the season (mutually). But I'm not surprised he hasn't quit with so little left in this season. I really hope they do even worse next season if he does l...

Re: Summer Clear Out - Who Stays?

Pretty much what BB said, he's proven himself to be a woeful Premier League centre back. Would give him a chance but would definitely sign somebody to replace him in the starting line up should he revert to type. Whilst I agree he has a bad track record, sometimes all it takes is a change of scener...

A while back I am sure Steve Harper said he wanted to be a ref when his playing days are up.

Probably no longer the case mind else he would probably be one!

Re: What is your favourite beer brand?

Brooklyn on draft in Coventry is around £4.50-£5 Moretti anywhere between £5-£7 I can however give you suggestions on where you can get a pint of Calrsberg for £2 <roll> <****> Even in an expensive bar up here I wouldn't be wanting to pay any more than £3.50. Yeah for some reason that and Peroni yo...

Re: What is your favourite beer brand?

A new bar has opened near me that does Birra Moretti, Lagunitas and Brooklyn on draught. Pricey as **** though. Moretti was £4.50 and Lagunitas is £5.50 <yikes>. It's within walking distance on my house and it's a total scumhole like the other pub so I'll just have to make do I suppose. What I save...

Re: 8,000 Cardiff City Away

Welcome !

I can definitely see us selling 8000 would be a cracking effort if we do. Well done to Cardiff in giving us a decent allocation, this season some teams have been frugal with what they have offered. Obviously certain ground sizes limit it.

I personally disagree I think the EU will probably try and make an example out of the U.K. and make it as difficult as possible to deter other countries.

Why can't we play a 4-3-3 or something decent. We actually have options. Very negative line up can see us being stung at home.... Again

Re: Try, try, and try again ...

Exactly. If you're good enough to pass at some point then it doesn't really matter how many goes it took. Really? I think if you're passing on your 33rd attempt then there's a chance you've got lucky and can't drive at that level on a consistent basis. Maybe they should just be monitored for the fi...
