Re: MIDWEEK FOOTBALL - 21 to 23 MARCH 2017

I don't mind international breaks, they aren't great but I've still got an interest in the England team. Think they have plenty of potential. Without Rooney and Gerrard hanging over us we've got a great chance. We played promising against Germany. Then he changed the formation and reverted to the s...

That's impressive. Especially since he hasn't been a Shrewsbury player since January.

Re: Match day thread - Brum v NUFC

Spot on, 7th best home record in the league isn't particularly dominant. Been far too negative there all season. Not saying this is my opinion, just putting forth the question but, how much of that do you think is down to the home crowd? I've seen a lot on reddit about how the home crowd reacts ver...

Re: Match day thread - Brum v NUFC

Rafa managing in the championship is different to Rafa managing in the PL, in this league we are the team to beat and the team other clubs park the bus against , this is why we see us sitting deep against teams as to bring them forward, we don't have the players to always unlock a stubborn 11 man d...

Re: Match day thread - Brum v NUFC

No I get that, what I don't get is how sure you are that 'another manager' would be doing better. Nonsensical. Not necessarily better but not worse. We don't know what the result would be. But other managers are willing to try different things. Even Shearer tried mixing things up when it wasn't wor...

Re: Match day thread - Brum v NUFC

We've extended our lead at the top of the table and extended the gap to third yet you'd think we just dropped into the relegation zone reading the last few pages of this thread. Absolutely ridiculous reaction. Also Rafa is by far and away the best manager we've had since Sir Bobby Robson, he's a Cha...

Poor decision. He'd have just about kept them up. They're down now. He's too good for Middlesbrough anyway.

For me Clark has been our player of the season.

Ritchie, Gayle and Shelvey all in with a shout.

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Fulham

I must have missed the announcement that penalties no longer count. Along with results against Rotherham.

Goals are goals and wins are wins, it doesn't matter how you get them or who you get them against they're all just as important.

He was embarrassing tonight and has been the last few times I've watched Man Utd.

Reminds me of Sissoko. Puts together a good highlights reel twice a season, then does **** all to the point where he's detrimental to his team for the majority of the season.

Fantastic set of results today for us and Sunderland without either of us playing.

We've essentially won the league and Sunderland are now petty much relegated.

Win tonight and we'll win the league.

Brighton are going to bottle it again, reckon they won't even get automatic promotion.

Just seen the ref is Roger East. That should play to our advantage, having a more experienced Premier League official.

Re: Match day - Huddersfield v NUFC

Seems as though the refs are having a shocker today, wouldn't be surprised if that was to continue in this game. Yeah and Huddersfield are prolific cheaters. They're top of the league when it comes to c***ish tactics. We'll win if the ref doesn't fall for the shithousery. If we get a poor ref (unfo...

Re: Match day thread - Brighton & HA v NUFC

Extremely satisfying to win when we didn't deserve to. Time and time again it's been the other way round this season. Finally got a bit of long overdue good luck. Dummett was brilliant, he gets a lot of stick but it's twice now this season he's made Knockeart look like a very poor player. Darlow mor...
