Re: Pavel's eBar

Had a chat with a recruiter this morning for a position based in Luxembourg and I was generally interested but he refused to tell me exactly what the company does so I managed to wangle out of him the company name and the role title. A very quick search later and I found the job listing on the comp...

Re: General Election 2017

Standard Tory then <whistle> Ok, I'll make you a deal. As I'm selfish for looking out for my own interests I assume your going to vote to look out for mine then. I'll vote Labour and you can vote Tory. You know, unless you expect it from me but not yourself... ( Standard Labour voter <whistle> ) Un...

Re: General Election 2017

I've asked someone to justify voting Tory despite the facts that I'd mentioned, but I'm still without a single valid answer. Only some responses along the lines of "yeah but I think Corbyn is a bit s***, so there" or "I think Labours plans may not work out" which is pure conject...

I hate my job but I don't really know what my options are. I have a degree in the field I work in (accounting) which now feels like a big mistake (sorry Dook). Fair few Accountants in my field (equity financial analyst)... I want a complete change though. I can't bear the thought of looking at numb...
