Re: Weekend Football (Matchweek 37)
Son could’ve almost handed Arsenal the title, Man City go up the other end and get a second to win the game and essentially the title.

Re: Weekend Football (Matchweek 37)
Gary Neville was 50/50 between picking Ben White or TAA as his right back of the season. Has he been on drugs?! Trent has been absolute gash for most of the season!

I laughed when I was reading it and laughed even harder when I read ‘Star’.seaside nipper wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 3:21 pmLiverpool are interested in Newcastle United's 23-year-old England winger Anthony Gordon, who began his career at Merseyside rivals Everton. (Star)

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Seagulls
Anderson hasn't kicked on this season because of injuries. Honestly, I have no idea how good he is. I actually think that despite limited game time due to injuries, he’s shown that he can be a very good player for us. Definitely shown enough in the games he’s had. It was unfortunate that he got inj...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Seagulls
Barnes for me needs to be given a proper chance, he's constantly in and out the team, he's played great in some games then seen himself out the next game, I can forgive some of his inconsistency because of this, he needs a proper run in the team., its clear to see he has bags of quality. Murphy i f...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
Yeah he will definitely play, an annoyance this season is how little we have seen Dummett, Ritchie, Targett, all taking up space but offering little to no minutes for us even during the injury crisis. So replacing these with players who can compete for games is a step forward. Where the **** is Mat...

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
I see Kelly as a replacement for Targett/Dummett. He's not going to be first choice CB or LB. I'm probably more concerned with the Olise rumours tbh. I'm really not ready for another player with spaghettified hamstrings, especially at a rumoured 60m Yeah Kelly would be cover in a couple of position...

Re: Weekend Football (Matchweek 37)
He is knocking on a bit now, so a bit of the Man U effect and a bit of natural aging I think. Yeah agreed. Think that's the reason Real Madrid were happy to let him go. He was never blessed with pace anyway and now he's lost a yard or two the games too fast paced for him. Reminds me of Sol Campbell...

Casemiro was almost the Rodri a few years back. World class holding midfielder anyway.

Re: Transfer Rumours/Wishlist
Gibbs-White gets another assist, would be very happy if we could land him in summer if Forest need to sell. Can’t remember his name, but the Brazilian centre back they have is decent too. Could he play well on the right? Because that's the only spot in the first team I could see him taking really A...

Re: Weekend Football (Matchweek 37)
If Forest lose next week then the record will be smashed for a team surviving on the fewest points, West Brom have the current record at I think 34, Forest would survive on 29 points. That bottom 3 this year have been horrendous. It’s laughable when pundits praise the strength of the PL when there ...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Seagulls
Tactically poor today, as a home team you should never set up to play the oppositions game at SJP. Isak shouldn't have been subbed off, outright bizarre decision imo, atrocious passing at times on the pitch which wasn't helped by having a 2 man midfield so that we had to resort to long balls or try...

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Seagulls
With GD and Man U likely to lose to Arsenal we’re still in pole position for p6. Spurs were never catchable.
Brighton 4 points from us and Villa, they’ll be confident when they play Chelsea at home midweek.
