Really? Source? Fantasy football and physio room both suggest he's out but they're not the most reliable.
Pardew on nufcTV. Says he's back and needs to play in order to gain match fitness.

Re: Official FIFA 13 thread

You were involved in these stats?! Why is Cisse so slow? Why isn't Shola stronger? Why, why, why?! <cry> Also, has anyone got the finishing stats for HBA and the Dembas? Ta. I don't have full control <wah> Hmmm. I shall let you off on this occasion. Cisse's pace is more acceptable than I thought an...

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread

I agree Torres is still a class player, but I think to say he's the best in the league is a bit too far. He used to be, but there is more than just confidence missing from his game. He's not the same player he was.

Re: Will Jonas miss out this season?

When Marveaux signed for the club, he was asked what his best/favourite position is, he said left winger.

Also, in what way is Jonas not a midfielder, holystone? He defends and attacks - that's what a midfielder does.

I'd love to know how 35-31=6, never mind the actual realism of the predicament.

Re: Roy's Rolls

It's all over Twitter that Ben Arfa has clashed with Blanc. Hatem was apparently on the phone after the game, this caused an argument and HBA said others should have been subbed before him. He then said to Blanc that he should send him home if he was unhappy with him. Nasri and Diarra also had an ar...

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread

On Drenthe, not sure that I would want him but I wouldn't agree that he is just a player that looks good on MotD. When he played us at SJP, I thought he was very impressive - always a threat.

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread

I agree with TSI that a forward is more important than a central midfielder. Only Hatem (and Best, if he's still here) potentially for during the AFCON.

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread

Purely hypothetical, but would anybody take Jose back for a smaller fee? I'm not sure. Could ruin team spirit and he doesn't seem as good as he was here, plus we bullied him a hell of a lot at SJP last season! <laugh>

Re: Carver's Carvery

Zlatan is the ultimate opinion-splitter. Take the game on Friday, Twitter was split between 'Zlatan's been incredible, doesn't deserve to lose' (I was one of those), and 'Zlatan's so s**** and over-rated'.

Re: Which scenario would you chose?

I'd keep Tiote. For me, he's the player that's most important to how we play. No matter how we're all dressing it up, Mulumbu isn't close to Tiote.

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread

Sorry, but I wish people would stop going on about Adam Johnson. We're not going to sign him, nor is he £10m better than what we already have.

Ba had some bad games at LW but let's not forget Liverpool and West Brom where he was superb in both.
