Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (January 2017)
Imagine Ben Arfa in the Champhionship?! GOALS. GOALS. GOALS. Anyone who wouldn't want that is mad. He wouldn't score that many. He doesn't do well in physical matches. Flair players do not work in the Championship. Ive never got this notion that "flair" players dont work at this level. If the "phys...

Agreed. That one yellow took his score from 28 down to 11ALF wrote:What calculates defence score and what exactly is a tackle lost? Dummett picked up a yellow today with a foul that'd be classed as a tackle lost but it was needed after a s*** delivery once again.

Re: Match day thread - Blackburn Rovers v NUFC
Good must mean something else these days That's literally something you can't deny. Wins the highest percentage of headers in the team <laugh> But whatever. Carry on the witch hunt. He's 30 yards from goal when we cross the ball in, his heading means squat there. It's not a witch hunt, he's a leagu...

He's far more attacking then Dummett and a far better passer of the ball.

Re: Match day thread - NUFC v Wigan Athletic
I cant fully agree with the Darlow love. As a shot stopper he is fine. Defending crosses, he is atrocious. He is so indecisive and panics at any ball that gets whipped in. All their pressure (coupled with our relatively poor full backs) came from routine crosses.

Re: Match Thread: Nottingham Forest v Newcastle United - 02/12/2016
Im surprised the 1st penalty has been ignored a little.
Ive never seen an off the ball incident result in a penalty, is that a rule? The ball was a good 30/40 yards away, and the kicks came from them two being tangled up rather than an all out kick.

Re: Match Thread: Nottingham Forest v Newcastle United - 02/12/2016
I've just seen about 4/5 posts in a row where the general conclusion is that the game was very even in the first half, and shelvey wasn't running the show. I never once said Shelvey was running the show or that the game wasn't very even though that matter. Didnt mean you mate, meant their forums

Re: Match Thread: Nottingham Forest v Newcastle United - 02/12/2016
<laugh> Don't think there is a more jealous fan base than Forest. They just can't take it that they're not going to get promoted any time soon whereas we'll win the league. Good to see the reds overturned. Finally some common sense from the FA. Ref needs punishing now. He should be banned until the...

Re: Match Thread: Nottingham Forest v Newcastle United - 02/12/2016
I do find it hillarious how much we are despised in this league, it's like when you go into a rural area and stop for a pint in someone else's local and you get those awkward looks haha. We really don't belong here. It's a forest thing really. Same as last championship, they stood out for being ove...

Re: Match Thread: Nottingham Forest v Newcastle United - 02/12/2016
What have we done to forest in the past fifteen years? Been a bigger club than them. They don't like that, they're meant to be the fallen giants in the Championship. Bet they hate Leeds and Villa too. Was the same in the last champ season. You'd think after they have spent 20 years outside of the t...
