New kick-off rule

Fast start: Last year the International Football Association Board (IFAB) tweaked the kick off rule so that “the ball can be kicked in any direction from kick off”. Brazilian footballer Mirrai certainly took full advantage of that when he scored with the very first touch of his side’s league match ...

Re: Championship Predictor

How do they finish up?? Only POINTS totals, don't worry about goal difference! Replies in please ...

The worst is that it was in stoppage time and the officials didn't see it, so no penalty and the game ended 1-1.

Re: Match Day Thread Reading v NUFC

Yep, we're pretty happy from the Reading angle too against a team as good as yourselves. To have got a point where Brighton and Huddersfield failed will sure give us confidence. Some nice comments from lads on our Royals Rendezvous forum too, like: "Got to be happy with that, it's a very good p...

If I could be arsed I would've copied and pasted a big "**** you " giff in response to my stinging criticism looks good enough to me, don't take any notice! Reading the sentence "Referee: Andy Davies - Hampshire-based ref given his third Newcastle game of the season after a 6-0 victo...

Re: Reading Fan Chat - Royals v Newcastle

Cheers guys. Our match presenter is doing a job like this all season ... on a lateral, take a look at our predictions, can't yet see a Reading win on the cards yet we're in play-offs right now so quite realistic, and just shows what a reputation Newcastle has this season ... http://royalsrendezvous....

Reading Fan Chat - Royals v Newcastle

Sorry lads, with the games raining in I just ain't had a chance to get a few questions up and running. No-one down south thinks you'll fail to be promoted so I won't ask about your hopes. But a few comments on how you've seen the championship generally this season would be great, for lesser mortals ...

Re: BBC2 Tonight 9PM - Russian hooliganism

I hunch that Russian police are not at all bothered that some English fans get unconscious or die, they might even encourage it on the quiet, they'll say they protected all they could and that it was done by some other nationality fans. Who would be in the middle of this filming it for the public go...
