Re: Amateur Football Team

As long as you enjoy playing it doesn't really matter. I was a bit of an all rounder for sports before a knee injury that curtailed participating for years but once the knee was a bit sturdier I just enjoyed playing and having friendly competition. I don't tho as I'm always aware I'm the shittest o...

Why's it a risk to bring the Mrs in? We don't have any Brewdogs over here.

Its a very blokey place - lots of nice beers on tap but not really woman friendly

OG Lansbury.

Tbf I'd rather see a Lansbury cock up that someone scoring a screamer from 50 yards out.

Re: Weekend Football 18-20 Feb

Just heard Sutton vs Arsenal is being played on a 3G pitch which is really interesting. The ball moves completely differently compared to grass. You need to put so much more weight behind each pass, you need to come to the ball rather than wait on it, the ball bounces almost like a rugby ball, the ...

It's a shame he's absolutely instrumental to our team. Could really do with someone of his importance being less of a knob.

I mean he's hardly going to stand on his line for 90 minutes. He did very well to adjust to the deflection.

Well that's lovely but stop fannying about in seaside towns and join my football team. You'd probably be better off getting your missus to join the team. I'll not have you say a bad word about my potential team mate. Unless he doesn't join. In which case he's a cronut. Well that's lovely but stop f...

Sounds like Craigavon <laugh> I dated a lass from Craigavon for a while. But whenever I went over for a visit we used to spend just about zero time there if we could help it. Used to head down to Newcastle in County Down instead. Could actually go to a pub there without worrying that you'd get the ...
