Don't know how bad any of the injuries are but Gayle, Anita and Hayden went off injured while Gouffran went down injured but finished the match.

Re: Match day thread - Brentford v NUFC

People ramble on about how grinding out a result is a sign of champions - there you go. That was a hard fought win. The players deserve all the credit. Really positive result. We've went through (hopefully) our worst run of the season and we're sitting top. No reason for negativity apart from the in...

Re: Match day thread - Brentford v NUFC

I was at the home match against Brentford and I don't recall seeing a more in control, laid back performance. That said, it was Shelvey that pulled the strings that day. Still, I don't see anyone in the Brentford squad that could trouble us so 2-0 United.

Bilic also confirmed that Payet won't play but they're not going to sell him either. Not really sure of the end goal here. Hemorrhage wages in the hope that he changes his mind?

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (January 2017)

Nah, his technical ability is there for all to see but I'll admit that he does lack a hunger and physical presence. He isn't even that quick for the kind of player he seems to want to be. He was one of my favourite players last season and I expected him to rip the Championship to shreds but he's dis...

To have gone through a bad patch like we have and still be sitting 6 points clear of 3rd is pretty f***ing good. Let's just hope we can stop the rot now.

Liverpool in FA Cup final. I was there as a kid and remember crying all night . Remember watching our back-to-back Cup Final defeats in the late 90s :( (Only on TV obviously) Was coming here to say this actually. I remember not knowing what was going on the year we played Arsenal, then balling my e...

Still think he could have turned out to be a decent player for us.

I don't consider Mbiwa to have ever been rubbish for us. More often than not he was let down by those around him or shoehorned into full-back.

I think I remember him scoring on his debut for us? Against Coventry in the FA Cup. Made me think he was gonna be the world's best player. <awe>
