Avoid black summer, utter garbage.
I didn't think it was too bad to be honest.
This! Also zombies that can run are much more threatening than TWD.

I still don't understand why Dani didn't fly straight to the castle and obliterate it mind you rather than burning all the people alive

This. At the very least start with the castle then move onto the innocents.

Re: Game of Thrones

Well I wasn’t expecting any of that. I get the ‘gods flip a coin when a Targaryen is born’ thing but thought that Viserys was the lunatic and Dani the good one. Sure, she can go a bit mad too but it completely betrays her entire character to this point. Also, she’s done nothing but dream of the Iro...

Re: Game of Thrones

My thoughts (many spoilers): Watched it before work, not sure if it's just my expectations but this wasn't as epic as I thought it was going to be. The show has literally been building up to this moment and I dunno, thought it'd be better. One of my pet hates in any show/movie is the big bad guy/gi...

Re: Kit Thread 19/20

I like that home kit, as Colly said it does look similar to the 11/12 one which is probably my favourite of the Puma era. Hope we ditch the white socks though.

Re: Kit Thread 19/20

Is 19/20 our last season with Puma? Our current deal will be up but Ashley’s very pally with Puma so I’d expect a renewal. Any hopes of Adidas will be a waste of time as they announced they wouldn’t look for a new deal back in 09/10 because of the negative publicity around Ashley’s ownership, and h...

Debuchy > Janmaat > Yedlin > Simpson for me. Not really buying this Janmaat is crap argument, he was at least as defensively solid as Yedlin and offered an awful lot going forward. He was excellent in his first season.

Exactly, I don't want us to make it the club record just for the sake of it. We could have spent £19m on Joselu if that was all we were doing it for...
Don’t believe I said I wanted that?

Just pointing out that as always nothing is ever as straight forward as it seems under Ashley.

Re: January 2019 Signing #2 Miguel Almiron (Club record £21m!)

In true Mike Ashley fashion there’s a suggestion that the deal is heavily incentivised and we’re (only) paying an initial £16m. Notice the club website didn’t mention anything about record breaking in their reveal.

But hey, welcome Almiron <diva>

Re: The Miguel Almiron Thread

Never thought I’d be so meh about us finally breaking our transfer record. Nothing against Almiron, just how I feel about the club atm thanks to Ashley, and the fact we’ve waited this long in the first place. On the player himself, still slightly concerned by the sizeable step up he’ll have to make ...

Re: What was the last "great" or even good goal we scored?

We've discussed it a few times at games, there really is no one in the side who can do the long rangers any more. Shelvey thinks he can, but always pulls the trigger at the wrong time and skies it, Kenedy thinks he can but blatantly can't, Ritchie's probably the only one I'd back to have a decent g...

Re: Sky: Peter Kenyon in talks about taking over NUFC

The whole thing smacks of desperation. TJR is spot on, if anyone actually believes this is a development in the eventual sale of the club they need their heads examined. It's not massive progress. It is further evidence of things we already know - that Kenyon is seriously interested, and remains so...
