Today was one of those days that put everything into perspective. A young girl from the office next to me was killed at lunchtime by flying debris. Only in her 20s, don't know who it was yet but bloody awful.

Puts all of our usual day to day stresses and complaints into perspective.

f***ing hell that's awful. Seen plenty of people taking the piss out of the storm and I do understand that, but it shows that all it takes is something heavy to come loose and serious damage can be done.

Jesus. Such an unjust way to have your life snatched from you. Nowhere to place any meaningful blame, and such a seemingly trivial cause. It really brings home the senselessness and waste.

Yes that's the one. Didn't know her but really tragic. Only small mercy is that it was instant.

Anyone listened to the new podcast with Robbie Savage and Freddie Flintoff? Whether you like them or not I've got a good insight into the mentality of sports people. Savage just talked about low confidence and how, when at Derby, he had an anonymous account on a Derby message board and would go on and big himself up. It's worth a listen. Also hello to Mitro if you're reading.....

Trumps address to Congress tonight could be interesting.

I'm backing 10+ alternative facts being uttered and up to 5 rebuttals of "Thats what I was told"

"Robbie. Your hair is feckin lush man. I so wish I had hair like you!"

"Robbie. I just saw a photo shoot you did for OK magazine. You are such a clever interior designer. Who knew that purple, pink and glow in the dark green worked so well together? Hats off to you my man. You are amazing and also have lush hair."

"Robbie. I reckon you'd be amazing on Strictly. The sequins, the fake tan and your lush hair. Thinkl about it when you hang up your boots. I'd watch!"
