Pubs who only do table service.

Went to one in the Lake District last night, walked in, no queue at the bar, ideal. Asked for a drink, apparently it’s table service only. Looked round, no tables free. Say to the guy that there isn’t a table. He says he can’t give me a drink until one is free (despite him being stood behind the bar explaining this to me, in which time he could’ve pulled a pint).

Not his fault as he just works there, but bloody stupid! Obviously didn’t hang around and went somewhere else.

Had a long over due eye test today, normally would use a local independent opticians but this time decided to try Vision Express. f*** me they are absolute scumbags. From the moment I was at my appointment all they were interested in was upselling the most expensive frames and lens extras.
The sales team I can understand but what really irked me today was the optometrist himself trying to upsell lens extras and extra frames in the middle of my f***ing eye test. Like what the actual f***! How f***ing low can you get when the medical professional is chipping in on the sales talk and trying to pressure you on unnecessary extras. One of the most unprofessional and outright bizarre experiences I've ever had at the opticians.
