Sounds like Craigavon <laugh>

I dated a lass from Craigavon for a while. But whenever I went over for a visit we used to spend just about zero time there if we could help it. Used to head down to Newcastle in County Down instead. Could actually go to a pub there without worrying that you'd get the s*** kicked out of you because you had the wrong accent or were from the wrong religion.
I was in Newcastle over the weekend <awe>
I dunno

Well that's lovely but stop fannying about in seaside towns and join my football team.

You'd probably be better off getting your missus to join the team.

If you pay travel costs then I'll join up.

Sure you can get cheap return flights out of Gatwick if booked far enough in advance and you can put me up in your house.

I can play in goal, defence, midfield and attack and last played in 1996.

I'll not have you say a bad word about my potential team mate. Unless he doesn't join. In which case he's a cronut.

Travel costs aside I would happily have you in my squad. Skill level and fitness level means nothing to me when players first join, we're all about trying to coach guys to the standard where they can play for us. Although we are still currently without a goalkeeper so I am considering paying for your flights and accommodation every week <scratch>

We'll make you good. It will cost you £25 but you get to choose your own squad number :)

I've not yet found the sport I'm good at. Love watching a lot of sport, shockingly bad at playing.

As long as you enjoy playing it doesn't really matter.

I was a bit of an all rounder for sports before a knee injury that curtailed participating for years but once the knee was a bit sturdier I just enjoyed playing and having friendly competition.

I was decent at football in my younger years. I played for the Army first team and when I was a kid I had trials at Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Sunderland . No-one wanted me though. <cry>

On the plus side , Lombardo gave me his shorts when I had my trial at palace and said I "would make it". He was wrong .

I'm 35 now though and my knees hurt walking upstairs.

I don't think I've ever been as angry as when I used to play golf. It's the most infuriating sport ever invented.

I prefer doing things that make me work up a sweat tbh <perv>! Whilst walking a few miles around a golf course is exercise it's not really going to work up a sweat for me. That's why I used to play 6-a-side, I wasn't playing to get better (that was impossible) it was just about fitness.

Are you generally fit though? I think s*** players who are fit can get away with being s***. I'm really unfit so my lack of quality is more obvious <laugh>.
