Funniest thing is at the time someone guessed he was talking about Yoshinori Muto, then we went and actually signed Muto a few weeks later 😅

<whistle> I also predicted him too.

Actually remember being very excited about him just never looked comfortable in premier league, lack of English didn't help

I'd hope that Kelly is mainly used as back up rather than having lots of game time, I'd see him more of an upgrade on Dummett, basically like a Krafth for the left side/CB

I think his injuries should be managed ok with limited games, but again after this season there are plenty of questions to be asked of how well we can actually manage those injuries.

Gibbs-White gets another assist, would be very happy if we could land him in summer if Forest need to sell. Can’t remember his name, but the Brazilian centre back they have is decent too.

Could he play well on the right? Because that's the only spot in the first team I could see him taking really

And the CB is Murillo I think

I think he’s mainly central, but given we’re so reliant on Bruno G in centre mid I don’t think it hurts to have more creativity or someone who can play off the striker. That said, if funds are limited and we could land someone like Olisie for the RW I’d be happy <laugh>

Craig Hope reporting we are now favorites to sign Tosin.

If we do get him and Kelly wrapped up very soon that is a great start to the summer. Can then fully focus on getting a couple of quality players in for pre season.

I've seen a lot of t*** on social media moaning about it, more so Kelly tbf, but in general about these kind of signings. Yes, not big names or exciting, but it's solid business and very very good work. It improves us, even if at the squad depth level rather than first XI. And considering we have two long term CB injuries, it's bleeding common sense to get it done. Lascelles will probably be put to pasture, unfortunately. One of my favourite players - personally. Krafth can cover there now, clearly. Probably going to be more a RCB than a RB going forward. Potentially will have a defence of Hall, Kelly, Burn, Botman, Schar, Adarabioyo, Krafth, (Lascelles), Livramento, Trippier. That's decent depth, to be fair.

Tbf Kelly has a pretty s*** injury record. But other than that, we need a long term squad depth replacement for Burn as Botman is surely our starting CB there is Botman. Same with Schar and Lascelles, they're both getting on, so Tosin could be a replacement for either depending on how he performs. And with financial restrictions, sorting both those out on frees is clever business

I see Kelly as a replacement for Targett/Dummett. He's not going to be first choice CB or LB.

I'm probably more concerned with the Olise rumours tbh. I'm really not ready for another player with spaghettified hamstrings, especially at a rumoured 60m
