Matchday thread - 'Ammers v Toon
A chance to pull away from the chasing pack in the race for European football.
Wednesday sees the Magpies back in action, when they play a rearranged Premier League fixture against West Ham at the London Stadium (8pm).
It's live on Sky Sports and all 3,000 away tickets were sold ahead of the original match date last September before the death of Elizabeth II saw it postponed.
Eddie Howe's side are unbeaten in all four PL visits to the capital so far this season; winning at Fulham and Spurs and drawing at Arsenal and Crystal Palace.
And in E20 they've lost just one of their five visits, winning three times and drawing there once.
PL trips to West Ham have been one of our most productive sources of away points, winning ten games on the road against them - a figure exceeded only by the 11 successes at Spurs.
NUFC: The Magpies go into this game looking for a fourth successive PL victory.
Miguel Almiron remains out and there's an injury doubt over Joe Willock.
Callum Wilson will doubtless be keen to line up against the Hammers, having scored three times in four games against them for Newcastle. Adding his Bournemouth record, his figures are 10 goals in 12 appearances.
Coral rate this game as follows:
NUFC win 23/20
Any draw 11/5
WHUFC win 13/5
NUFC win 1-0 11/2
NUFC to keep a clean sheet 31/20
Anthony Gordon anytime scorer 7/2
Isak to score and ASM to provide an assist 11/1
WHUFC: With the possible exception of Gianluca Scamacca, David Moyes looks to have a full squad to pick from.
Sunday saw the Hammers record a 1-0 home win over Southampton in the Premier League, extending their unbeaten run at the London Stadium in 2023 to six games in all competitions.
Referee: Craig Pawson - three Toon games so far this season for the South Yorkshire whistler and a trio of draws: 1-1 at home to Bournemouth, 0-0 at Manchester United and 0-0 at Crystal Palace.

I'm going for a narow 1-0 win in a game we should have comfortably won 3 or 4-0.
