I got ahead of myself. Dispatched on Friday, they're now already claiming lost in the post (Evri haven't received it yet). Offering me a refund or store credit, notably not "just give me my stuff".

What a shambles.

It's all over. They've said I can reorder and if any of the items have gone up they'll refund the difference (f***ing madness), but the kids home kit is completely out of stock. I've basically just loaned Castore £80 for two months.

Week 5 update. Castore have apologised again and are now "raising an investigation" with their warehouse which may take up to 7 working days. They also manage to blame Hermes, a company that hasn't existed since 2022 despite my order not showing as shipped.

I actually don't know why I bothered.
just bought a knock off of this top from china:

Not NUFC but possibly a hint of what Adidas are up to, I quite like it, the lower half has a very mid 2000s Teamgeist shape going on which I was a fan of. Ours should be soon judging by the big temporary club shop taking shape at Gallowgate.

If anyone was even vaguely interested in my Castore woes, after cancelling the entire order and getting it refunded, I managed to buy a personalised shirt for my son in the Metro Centre shop for about double the price (£16 name and number rather than free). As part of my now about 30 email trail with them they'd said if I was able to get one they would refund me the difference, needless to say I'm still chasing that. Basically resigned to the fact it won't happen (which is why I didn't buy myself one having done so in the original order) but I'm not letting it go...

In the meantime between cancellation and rebuy I bought a load of cheap Deportivo La Coruna gear from Classicfootballshirts.co.uk, and I'm far happier with that.

I know it wasn't long ago that Puma did the burgundy and navy hoops - but I'd gladly have that again for an away kit. That'll always be my favourite foundational colours/pattern for a kit no matter who is wearing it.

The Puma one was class too. Ive worn mine so much the sponsor completely came off the front, as an added bonus!

Our purple puma one from 08/09 is one my my modern favourites (still got mine with 'Jonas' on the back and in pretty good condition still). Shame we got relegated that season <laugh>

I think my all time favourites are the 97-99 home shirt (first one I owned) and the 99-00 home shirt.

Ahem, Adidas.

The 97-99 and 99-00 are still in my matchday rotation, ridiculous how they've stayed in such good condition but I think they were just built better, and the embroidered sponsor on the 99 still looks perfect.
