Matchday thread - Toon v Sheffield United
Well what a week it's been so far, let's hope it continues today.
Newcastle return to Premier League action on Sunday against the Blades at Bramall Lane.
It's a 4.30pm kick-off live on Sky Sports and all away section tickets have been sold.
Team: Joelinton and Joe Willock are both out, while Emil Krafth is back in training but yet to make a playing return. The availability of Martin Dubravka is unclear after he missed the Milan trip due to illness.
Anthony Gordon has already collected four bookings and is one away from a one game suspension.
Coral price this game as follows:
NUFC win 4/9
Draw 7/2
SUFC win 6/1
SUFC: Oli McBurnie is missing due to suspension while Max Lowe, Ben Osborn, John Fleck, Rhian Brewster, Rhys Norrington-Davies, George Baldock and John Egan are all on the injury list.
Paul Heckingbottom's side remain winless since their Premier League return, beaten at home by Crystal Palace and Manchester City and on the road by Nottingham Forest and Spurs. Their sole point to date came in a 2-2 draw with Everton at Bramall Lane.
Referee: Stuart Attwell - a quick return to the fray for the Warwickshire whistler, who took charge of our recent 1-3 loss at Brighton in the Premier League.

Won’t be a walk in the park but a narrow win.
Would expect Barnes to come back in, Anderson in midfield and Wilson upfront

Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Sheffield United
No real surprises there, Isak looked f***ed v AC Milan and Gordon has played a lot of football.

Hope Burn just keeps it simple as he's been frustrating in recent games thinking he's the new ASM.

Just win, a win with some swagger even better then.
Let’s get our mojo back and start looking a bit quicker and slicker

Feel that Burn is getting into that "undroppable" zone. No idea why though. Yes he makes some decent clearances and defends well at times, but he also loses the ball frequently and is detrimental to our attacks down the left.

Hits Gordon's hand that's going to be ruled out by VAR.
