I imagine the rumours of a Rafa/Henry partnership at Arsenal next season will only intensify after last night's result and the fact Arsenal have said they'll make a decision on Wenger's future in the summer. I realise this happens every year but i think they'll take the twenty year milestone and say enough is enough. Anyone worried?

I see Arsenal going for Diego Simeone if Wenger doesn't have his contract extended.seatonsluicetoon wrote:I imagine the rumours of a Rafa/Henry partnership at Arsenal next season will only intensify after last night's result and the fact Arsenal have said they'll make a decision on Wenger's future in the summer. Whilst no one could really begrudge him going if they did come calling, I think it'd be the wrong move for him personally. Similar to Man Utd, the first one after is always going to be scrutinised more harshly. He plays a completely different way to what they've been used to under Wenger and judging by the comments by their lot just from the link, they'd treat him with the same contempt that Chelsea fans did when he went there.seatonsluicetoon wrote:I imagine the rumours of a Rafa/Henry partnership at Arsenal next season will only intensify after last night's result and the fact Arsenal have said they'll make a decision on Wenger's future in the summer. I suppose the Henry link is to aid the continuity of 'the Arsenal way' but agreed Rafa isn't comparable play style wise. Fingers crossed.

Rafa would be a terrible for Arsenal. Their fans are so deluded it's painful. They finished 2nd last season and still a large portion of their fanbase wanted Wenger to go.

If we took Wenger in a straight swap, would anyone have an issue with that?

Only because Tottenham s*** the bed in the last two weeks of the season. Arsenal have stagnated and underachieved for a good ten years now.ALF wrote:Rafa would be a terrible for Arsenal. Remember him signing for Anzhi from QPR the season they were relegated for somewhere around £15m, was only 3-4 seasons ago so things cant have gone great for him since then Just checked hes 32, thought he was a bit older than that.. heres to hoping he gets relegated with Villa this time
