Oh no doubt, he doesn't hold a candle to the others named. I just found his fouls particularly funny and clumsy towards the end. Never dangerous though!

Any of you rememeber Lulinha (Corinthians)? He still have the top scorer record with Brazil U17.

I never had him, the Brazilian youngster I remember most was Kerlon

Nah it was all about Mark Kerr on one of the older football manager games, had a release clause of about £500k and always did a decent job! Ibrahim Said too (cheap Egyptian CB).

Julius aghahowa was decent too.

Has Hugo Viana's name come up yet?

Thought he was going to be class but it never worked out here, or at any of his other clubs really.

IIRC Bobby never seemed to play him in the centre, where Viana claimed to be suited for. He showed glimpses of talent but never got a run and wasn't effective on the wing, wasn't exactly rapid.
I mean Bobby was a better judge than I, but I was always dissapointed when we had Dyer or Jenas* in the centre instead of Viana. My memory is terrible though, so might not have happened much.

*good player after he left us, but always passed it backwards in our midfield

Nope. Did he go on to achieve anything of note? I remember him being at Valencia but didn't seem to do much.

Yeah I've heard that a few times! Not sure how much truth or otherwise is in it but it definitely did the rounds.

He was all technique in an era where the Premier League didn't have too many of those players. If he was 5-6 years younger he'd have had a much better career.

Always like Habib Beye though he was half decent Would probably say Clarence Acuna.
