Club Hatred

I'm curious to see, aside from Sunderland and Middlesbrough, what other clubs do you guys hate?

I don't mind Middlesbrough at all and I don't suppose I really hate any clubs; but have a strong dislike of some of their fans. If I want to see a team do badly, it's because the reaction of some of their fans is hilarious i.e. Sunderland.

Sunderland - local rivalry. I like the banter but some of their fans are so bitter and twisted it makes it easy not to like them.

Everton - my dislike for Everton goes back to the days when Oli Bernard got clattered in a disgusting tackle and Everton didn't put the ball out and went up the other end and scored.Petty but I'm holding that grudge forever.

Villa - just because some of their fans are cunts.
Liverpool - see above

Don't 'hate' any club, anyone over the age of 12 who claims to have a genuine hatred for another football club needs to take a look at themselves.

Clubs that I take some enjoyment in seeing them lose are Villa (just because of how they reacted to our relegation in 2009 like they'd just won the league), Liverpool as their fans think they have a divine right to success and think they're on a par with Chelsea etc. when they're not, Forest as they still live in the past, and Plymouth Argyle because I grew up near Exeter.

As I say, not hatred but just amusing to see then lose.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

Villa, Forest, Everton, Shef Wed are probably the main ones.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, Stoke, Leeds, Palace are all pretty dislikeable to.

There was a large amount of time where I really hated Newcastle United.

Apart from Chelsea, United, Liverpool and Villa, why them?

Everton because their fans are horrendous, live up to their nickname of being the Scouse mackems.

Palace because of how ridiculous they went on when they got Pardew only for us to be proved correct.

Forest, Shef Wed and Leeds all the same reason, bitter fans living in the past.

I've just never liked Stoke, but don't really have a standout reason as to why.

Rangers, Celtic, Hamilton, Airdrie, Killie

Barca, Man City, Chelsea, Spurs, Bayern

Hate isnt a strong enough word for my feelings towards Sunderland and the OF the rest it varies between just a dislike and strong dislike

Aside from the unwashed...

Villa, Sheff Utd, Palace, Leeds.
It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

I dont 'hate' any other clubs or fans its pretty sad to actually HATE another set of fans as its only a game at the end of the day, however I will never tire of seeing Sunderland lose mainly because of how hilarious RTG is... win or lose tbf

And villa, I dont mind it when they lose

Liverpool. They think they're a really special club with a divine right to success. Reality is they're not particularly great. Also, nearly every song they've got is boring.

Beginning to hate Arsenal too, the way their fans are treating Wenger is an absolute disgrace.

I dunno if Newcastle fans can complain about a Liverpool song. Have you heard the music at half time on newcastles radio broadcast? Some sort of terrible local song about coming home to Newcastle. Makes my ears bleed.

Home Newcastle by Busker (Ronnie Lambert). Great song by a lovely bloke singing about his life, not sure how anyone can take umbrage to that.

I can't comment on Liverpool because I only know YNWA, but it's quite obvious why they're passionate about that one.

It's romantic and adds to a sense of identity that most football clubs simply don't have. I guess it's the "one club city" situation that breeds a sense of identity and pride.

It's a good thing <ok>

I'm sure the guy who wrote it is lovely but hearing Home Newcastle makes me cringe a bit.

I hate it when clubs play music after goals, especially if it's Tom Hark (i.e. Burton) as it just sounds awful. I don't hate the club for it, just hate the fact they do that.

Home Newcastle is lovely. Frankly we need reminders of our heritage since over the last decade everyone's forgotten how to sing the first verse of Blaydon Races.
