MIDWEEK FOOTBALL - 3/5 APRIL 2018
Well what an Easter, more chocolate than I could shake a stick at, more Peroni than is good for me at my age, a trip over to the North East to see The Toon take a massive step towards safety and a bit of a laugh at the mackems' expense with further merriment possible tonight.
This midweek sees the quarter-finals of the European competitions taking place with some massive games with, perhaps, the biggest being the Battle of Britain on Wednesday night at Anfield although there is a big game at the Macron Stadium tonight where victory for Birmingham City would leave the mackems 8 points from safety with just 6 games to play.

It's also the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Champions League this week too! Just kidding, nobody here should be excited for them but me.

Re: MIDWEEK FOOTBALL - 3/5 APRIL 2018
I was proud that Toronto knocked out the Mexican league champion a couple weeks ago. Pretty shocking that a Liga MX club has won every single iteration of the Champions League. Just illustrates how superior a league it's historically been compared to the MLS Maybe this year will be the first.UlversToon wrote:I was going to do a separate thread for the CONCACAF.I'm over Colo wrote:It's also the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Champions League this week too! He's so much better than any of our strikers Imagine where we'd be if Rafa took a chance on him
