Wonder if Berahino will get game time for them next season, he might score in the ChampionshipLassassinblanc wrote:Can see Stoke players who be looking for moves to show what they can do expect Shaquiri to have the best game of his lifeTsi wrote:

Easy to have a good sense of humour after winning...Lassassinblanc wrote:not sure if anyone heard that Southampton had to change hotels at short notice but good to see they have a decent sense of humour about the whole affair

I think it's fair enough of the local hotel to try and help their local team
They presumably have the right to cancel any booking that they like, regardless of an 'illness' outbreak!

All 3 promoted teams staying up, for all everyone moans about the riches of the PL widening the gulf in English football if anything it just goes to show there's very little now been the bottom half of the PL/top 6 of the Championship.

f*** Swansea. f*** Cardiff as well, Warnock is a super cronut, but can't argue with his results. Gone by xmas, and he'll be at an underperforming champo side by February. I'm going for Derby.

Yeah to give Warnock credit he has done an amazing job (I still can't stand him). To think that Fulham have probably played the best football in the championship this season along with Wolves, and they've gone unbeaten for half a season, for Cardiff to have remained ahead of them is amazing really. He's in no way cut out for the PL and will in all likelihood be fired tho. If I was him I'd be happy to say 'thanks very much' and walk away a hero. Like when Ranieri won the PL he was doomed to 'fail' the next season. Although quite why Leicester fans are unhappy with finishing 8th or 9th is beyond me...

Re: MIDWEEK FOOTBALL - 8/10 MAY 2018
Was hoping West Ham would lose meaning one less team that could finish above us
Re: MIDWEEK FOOTBALL - 8/10 MAY 2018
For all the weekends games seem pretty meaningless now the difference between finishing 10th and 15th is around £10m in prize money so I'd like to think Rafa has drummed that into them.

Win and we’ll have an extra £10m to spend on replacing you with a better model. Not sure the incentive is there...Heisen wrote:For all the weekends games seem pretty meaningless now the difference between finishing 10th and 15th is around £10m in prize money so I'd like to think Rafa has drummed that into them.

This. The prize money will be no incentive for players.seatonsluicetoon wrote:Win and we’ll have an extra £10m to spend on replacing you with a better model. It really doesn't matter at all. It's a nothing game but the fans and I suspect the players will want to go out on a high. We'll try and win but ultimately it depends on Chelsea.
Overall it means nothing though, victory or defeat I couldn't really give a s****. No matter what we've massively over achieved this season. The players should be proud of what they have done.
Re: MIDWEEK FOOTBALL - 8/10 MAY 2018
The players will want to finish as highly as they can, surely
