I haven't seen anything from Uruguay, France or Argentina that I would find too worrying if we had to play them.
Kindly deeds done for free!

Crazy how the Argentina manager didn't bring on Dybala Messi could've decided the match all alone though
Looking forward to seeing Peru at a World Cup finally

The Iceland goalkeeper is probably Europe's most famous film director by now. Some cracking stops!

Not at the moment. Can see England smashing a way through the group then ending up against one of the above teams, or similar, who are playing poorly and losing 1-0.bigbelgiandave wrote: ↑Sat Jun 16, 2018 3:02 pmI haven't seen anything from Uruguay, France or Argentina that I would find too worrying if we had to play them.

Peru kit is easily the best at the tournament. No idea why everyone is frothing over the Nigeria one.

I reckon England away kit is the best tbh. Croatia always have a nice kit thoBlještav Benny wrote: ↑Sat Jun 16, 2018 5:52 pmPeru kit is easily the best at the tournament. No idea why everyone is frothing over the Nigeria one.

Nigeria are pretty shocking.
Re: World Cup 2018 Match Thread
Argentina and France reminded me of England’s usual inability to break down defensive teams. Probably be completely different if we came to face thembigbelgiandave wrote: ↑Sat Jun 16, 2018 3:02 pmI haven't seen anything from Uruguay, France or Argentina that I would find too worrying if we had to play them.
I’m a big fan of the Argentina away. And the navy Japan kit (not sure if it’s home or away)Blještav Benny wrote: ↑Sat Jun 16, 2018 5:52 pmPeru kit is easily the best at the tournament. No idea why everyone is frothing over the Nigeria one.

Iceland are a very solid international side, and they deserve much more credit instead of this weird patronising narrative. I still find it odd that many consider losing to them at Euro 2016 as England's lowest point.

I don't think they're getting patronised, people know they have some very good players who play at a high level around Europe. But it is remarkable that a nation that small are achieving what they are.
Iceland are a little more of a known quantity now, but when they played England it was their first tournament appearance and that was a major shock.
P.s. I was born in Scotland so I'm not trying to backup England, couldn't give a f*** what they do

Isn't there something like 30,000 males in the right age bracket to play professional football, i.e. about 1 in every 1200 eligible people in the country is in the World Cup squad? And they aren't rubbish? That's absolutely astounding.

Sending this post,
From Canada's east coast,
Newfoundland to be precise,
The weather is not nice,
And I've be left to rue,
The defeat of Peru,
In their opening game,
Such a shame,
And having the best kit,
Doesn't make up for it,
Next are France,
So we still have a chance.
