Re: Game of Thrones
Does anyone watch it?
So far I'm 8 episodes into the first series (so please no spoilers ). Took a while for me to get into it, but its getting really quite good now.
Going to watch the rest of the series next week some time.
It s getting better and better after that !!

It's quality declines with each season unfortunately.

Season 4 was meh, 5 was **** but 6 and 7 were class.PTAO wrote:It's quality declines with each season unfortunately.
It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.
Re: Game of Thrones
I have to disagree, the story has gotten ridiculous with main characters having plot armour thicker than Lovenkrands' penis. It doesn't have the same feel as the earlier seasons. Characters are dumbed down to cartoon levels, the dialogue is cheesy and the plot predictable. If I weren't so invested in the series already I'd quit.Chappy wrote:Season 4 was meh, 5 was **** but 6 and 7 were class.PTAO wrote:It's quality declines with each season unfortunately.
It just feels like fan service and big CGI scenes.

Re: Game of Thrones
Don't watch this but saw the guy who played Joffrey in a pub in Edinburgh last week. He's in his mid 20s but looks much younger. He had a chat and a picture with us all, seemed like a decent bloke.
I'd have had no idea who he was but one of the other guys there was a GoT fan.

In the show (but absolutely not the books) Joffery was easily my favourite character for just how well he's played.

Seen one episode of the entire thing, that was enough for me.
