I'll be having a look myself anyway - but thought I'd ask if anyone has any recommendations on headsets for Xbox One.
I want a good quality headset that plays the game sound through them instead of the tele. Not only so I'll be able to play games like PUBG better but I'll also be able to smash gaming while our lass is sleeping
Not arsed on branding - just after good quality... don't wanna spend a s*** load but would be willing to go up to about £50.
Headsets
Re: Headsets
Can only speak for PC gaming but i've tried a few (soundblaster, corsair, steel series, logitech) and by far the best for sound quality and comfort is sennheiser(over ear). Not sure if they are compatible with xbox but i guess you can find out. They also do a pretty good in ear headphone that i sometimes use for gaming.

Sound mate I'll check it out
It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.
Re: Headsets
soundblaster - way too much bass
corsair - really good sound but one of the most uncomfortable headsets if you have more than a couple of hours session
steel series - decent sound but another that isn't that comfortable after a few hours
Logitech - comfortable but seemed to have too much treble
Sennheiser - Great sound quality and the most comfortable headset i've owned (on my third Set of Sennheisers) worn them for long periods and the comfort level is really good as is the build quality.
I'd avoid on ear and go for either over ear (closed) or over ear (open) closed headphones isolate you from the noise around you and keep others from hearing your game sounds/music, while with open headphones people around you will hear it and you'll hear noise around you.
Some people say open has the better sound but i'm not so sure.
Better explanation of open and closed here
Just my opinion i'm sure others will have good recommendations.

Don't work on Xbox but I've got some Bose noise excluding over ear headphones and they're great. Wouldn't travel long haul without them now, make a flight so much better.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?
