Don't know why, saw loanees in the title and thought of this.

And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

Confirmed now. Good loan for him I think, and perhaps hints to another striker acquisition?

Thought Coventry were championship for some reason. Regardless if Armstrong starts banging them in at league 1 then it can only bode well for his future. Just checked he's 18, thought he was younger for some reason

My friend will no doubt keep me updated now since he's buzzing about getting Arma on loan!

Coventry is a good move for Armstrong. They're a big club in League One and having a loan until Christmas is far better than the pointless one month loans.

Productive loan spells for our youngsters.

Under the last few years of Pardew all I can remember is one month loan spells for Adam Cambell and a mass exodus of injured players to Rangers.

Vuckic sat on the Rotherham bench <laugh>

Tav had a decent loan spell there two but then wasn't given a chance here when he came back.

I think Ferguson did well at Birmingham too but then after JFK said he wanted to buy him, he did nothing again for either team.

Woodman kept a clean sheet last night in a 3-0 win. Didn't have much to do apparently but it'll do.

Paul Dummett and Conor Newton had fairly successful loans at St Mirren as well - played in a cup final in their time.

I looked it up, he's played most games but no assists yet. Hopefully he'll have a good season

Sammy went to Boro aswell. Didn't do all that good though.
Joe Kinnear: "I think they've got some magnificent midfield players; Tiote, Ben Afri, Yohan Kebab, Sissoko are very solid."
