Billions season 2 starts this month, looking forward to that.
Also finished series 1 of Mad Men which I'm really getting in to now.

Any old farts remember Sapphire and Steel from the 1970's, with David McCallum and Joanna Lumley?
I'm probably a bit behind the news here, but apparently Neil Cross (the guy behind Luther) is going to re-boot it. Which I'm quite happy about, remember loving that show as a 9/10 year old. Although was probably crap and i'm just engaging in misplaced nostalgia.

Starting my week off work to go and see the early screening of Split. It's not half term where I am so there shouldn't be many people in the cinema
Tickets were also free as part of rewards I build up on my bank account

So long since I read the book I can't remember anything about it, but I recall enjoying it.

Watched a film called Hidden on Kodi (2015) on Saturday. Was pretty good and a bit different to the usual 'virus wipes out most of the population' type film.

Just watched I, Daniel Blake. Pretty good, not without its flaws but pretty good. Glad to see a film showing the Kafka nightmare that is entering the welfare system and what it can do to people.
Making Of reveals Loach to be the exact sort of patronising romantic that I'd always imagined he was though. Walking down some Tyneside highstreet he and the writer chat; "God. It's desperate. Just desperate. This is where they all come to lose what little money they have. And look, more disabled people over there... Desperate. Just desperate..."
