So sorry to hear that and can't begin to imagine what you and your wife are going through. Take care mate.ScottW1886 wrote:Went for an ultrasound last Friday, midwife wasn't concerned but agreed to an early scan to alleviate our concerns over some light bleeding.

Jeez man, that's terrible news. Puts all the other things people get worked up about into perspective. You and the Mrs just have to be there for each other now. Can't pretend I know what you're going through but the Mrs and I have tried for a kid for 7 years with no luck so can't imagine if that ever happened.ScottW1886 wrote:Went for an ultrasound last Friday, midwife wasn't concerned but agreed to an early scan to alleviate our concerns over some light bleeding.

Veggie is a vegetarian, not a vegetable.

Naming storms.
If we do have to name them can we make them at least sound menacing. This next storm is going to be a bit windy so basically it's a blow job from Doris and Wayne Rooney is excited.

Tonsillitis. Like swallowing broken glass and razor blades. Currently on day 4, and have seen online that some people have it for weeks. .

When I was 17-20 I would get it around 3 times a year. Usually after a couple days of penicillin it would feel much better. Got glandular fever though when I was 18, lasted 2 weeks.skalpel wrote:Tonsillitis. Like swallowing broken glass and razor blades. Jesus . Must have been utter misery. I'll be off to the doctor if it hasn't cleared up in a few days time, hoping it's the kind of tonsillitis that they give you something for. Apparently if it's just the viral one they send you home with an aspirin .PTAO wrote:When I was 17-20 I would get it around 3 times a year. They always gave me antibiotics even if they weren't 100% sure. I'd recommend going sooner if you can, if it is the bacterial version, it probably won't go away and you could end up with a quinsy, which I was apparently around 1 day away from once.skalpel wrote:Jesus . I think I've got the same. Every meal and drink I've had for the last few days has been completely ruined by the agony when swallowing it.

It's Britain, they always give you antibiotics, you could go to them with a sprained ankle and they'd give you antibiotics.PTAO wrote:They always gave me antibiotics even if they weren't 100% sure.
