Wasn't sure where to post this but better than that cringey s**** that's doing the rounds
Re: Match day thread - NUFC v PNE
Is my last trip i can make this season and was thrilled that we scored 4 the little break for atsus goal was fantastic
The way we played the second half there was only ever going to be one winner loved every second of the game yesterday never doubted the result would come even at 1 - 1
Heres hoping we have a good one next season

I'm still happy now! I've been happy ever since the match ended and probably will be for agesbiggeordiedave wrote:This season ranks as one of my least favourite of all time. I've absolutely hated vast chunks of it, but I was absolutely over the moon last night. I think I'm just glad it's over. I genuinely don't care that we're finishing second.
Looking forward to watching us get shafted every week next season
I know we are going to get shafted next season, but we'll be getting shafted in the premier league!!!

Disagree about Anita. I thought he had an absolute shocker.Holystone... wrote:Thoughts on the first team last night.
Elliot- Decent save probably helped momentum of the game.
Anita-Still flatters to deceive but did little wrong
Lascelles-Played a sound game
Clark- We have missed him
Dummett- Did he slot a single pass up to Atsu? Too negative through either lack of skill or confidence, I'm not sure .
Ritchie-Brilliant
Shelvey-Usual playmaker
Hayden-Struggled to wrestle control of midfield
Atsu-Goal was well taken but spent a lot of time ineffective.
Perez-Great in the box, not much use elsewhere
Mitrovic-Very slow but put himself about.
Kindly deeds done for free!

Anita was s****, likewise Shelvey.
Perez looked like a proper poacher on those goals, I know he couldn't really have missed but it was as deadly as he's looked all season.
Mitro is an assist machine, 3 assists in 3 appearances.

Unbelievably lucky but you've got to be in the right positions and anticipating the bounce.Hjl wrote:As far as perezs goals. I guess it better to be lucky than good huh..ALF wrote:Anita was s****, likewise Shelvey.
