Noon has been renewed as our sleeve sponsor, the announcement on the website makes good reference to how much we achieved and mentions how Noon will now be seen in the Champions League, no doubt that the finances have probably increased with this renewal. I think the original was something like £5m iirc.
is it going to be down to the wrist now then? <roll>

I see the under-21s have a game just down the road from me in Barrow on 29 July so I may pop along to take a look.

At under-18 level, second-year scholars Ben Parkinson and Ciaran Thompson have agreed professional contracts while Eden Page has taken the option of a third-year scholarship as he continues his recovery from a long-term injury.

Beau Beresford, Steven Bessent, Lucas Cooper, Callum McNally and Nathan Nkunku will depart the Academy this summer.

After starring for Gambia in the U20 World Cup this summer, Adama Bojang has found himself on the wish list of many a prestigious club according to The Guardian and could cost as little as £2.6million. Newcastle have just added their name to the list of interested parties

Newcastle Women have become a full-time professional club after their promotion to the third-tier FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division.

They will become the first club in Women’s National League history to take this step.

Newcastle United's under-21s will compete in a new edition of Premier League 2 next season after the two-tier system was scrapped in favour of one league and a play-off system

The Times has learnt that the possibility of increasing the capacity of the East Stand is now under serious discussion. Newcastle built the stand in 1972 and it is now dwarfed by the more recent extensions of the Milburn Stand and the Leazes End because of restrictions involving the listed Georgian buildings behind it on Leazes Terrace.

Those buildings are grade II-listed and a limit was put on the size of the stand when it was built because of issues regarding light. However, advancements in engineering and architecture mean there is the possibility of a redesign that would use more glasswork and allow extra light to go through the stand, potentially leading to a significant capacity increase.

Not a priority right now, but the telegraph are reporting a 15m fee, which in this climate could be a bargain for a young English player with a fair amount of top flight experience. Has he had injuries?

Just coming back from cruciate injury I believe. He's rated very highly , capable on both sides, young upgrade on Manquillo if you ask me.
I'll Hazard a guess

Despite their team going to Saudi, UAE, and Qatar during pre season or international break where they will play a local team and be paid handsomely for doing so. <ski>
