Randomly i've never found bone breaks that painful, I once played 100+ minutes and a penalty shootout with a broken foot and didn't know until I took off my boot and sock that something was wrong when I seen the bruising (perhaps just adrenaline).

Don't get me wrong they are a b**** of an injury and you have to be extremely careful with the recovery compared to muscle injuries but I've always found the rehab from muscle injuries much worse and as I've said the aftermath of the above injuries i.e. my left knee swelling up if i over exert myself. The dull pain in the back of my ankle if i kick a ball a certain way.

In my early teens I went a good few days without going and was in some discomfort and they were talking about that as a potential option. Thankfully the lactulose did the job and I shifted the load so it never got to that!

It was awful, I was covered in my fry up, I had a few hours before,

Straight after the ordeal, I had to hop in the shower to clean myself. After that I just collapsed on my bed!
