It’s nice (steady rather than anything wow), moderately smokey finish. I’d class it as an easy drinker.
Have you had 12? It's one of my dailies. Highland Park 12, Laphroaig 10, and Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban
Not sure tbh, doesn’t say anywhere on the bottle.

What do you think? I'm a big fan of the 12, Valkyrie, and Odin

Liquor store next to a Walmart just down the road from where I’m staying!
Lucky duck. Pick up a bottle of old Forrester 1920 if you haven't already had it. It's superb.
Will have a look before I go home <ok>

I read that you can take 5 litres in your checked baggage <scratch>

That's a good price!

It's fairly hard to find here.

I’ve heard of the angel’s share but this takes the piss.

At least it’s only Jim Beam...
My first thought after reading that article.

Can they burn down Jack Daniel's while they're at it? <laugh>

Nice one DT.

I go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week to try and burn off the beer calories so generally always stay around the same weight. Only drink 3 nights a week too (probably 6 beers a weekend and 3 whiskeys) so not too excessive.

Tomorrow will be four months on the wagon. Surprised at how little i'm missing the booze to be honest (i.e. not at all).
Feel any better for it?

Yeah loads. I did it because I was going on a diet and didn't want to hinder the weight loss with dead calories, but being alcohol free is definetely good for you (unfortunately). I gave up for 18 months when I was in my 20's and a fitness freak and basically concluded that alcohol is tantemount to a poison in the adverse affect it has on your body. But I love the stuff so got back into bad habits, and no doubt will again at some point down the road. Am currently in the weight loss zone though and enjoying it so no will power needed at the moment.

Sounds ideal!
Was awesome. The folk at Cardhu were sound and gave me like 3 extra samples to take home.... one of the being the 21 year old! No extra cost!

Glenfiddich and Glenlivet tomorrow <awe>
Sounds like a great trip!

Nice work. I do quite enjoy having a break now and again and usually give up for one month a year, never made more than that tho! I have dabbled with the idea of a dry year.
