Sorry for the late reply. I'm a Fuji guy myself but up until I changed over I was a Nikon Jockey for years.

Nikon lens are dedicated to specific jobs and they call their Macro lenses "Micro" lenses.

You could not go wrong with the following lens:

http://www.camerajungle.co.uk/products/ ... oCaLXw_wcB

Its an 85 mm Micro which is superlative for Macro work but the 85 mm size makes it ideal for portraiture when you get into it a bit more.

Then there Is:

https://www.parkcameras.com/p/3240092G/ ... oCJf7w_wcB

Which is a 40mm macro and great for 'street' photography. Its classed as a 'fast' lens as it has a 2.8 aperture which lets in a lot of light so you can use faster shutter speeds. Please note that in the fisrt case the 80mm is second hand but it looks in mint condition and nearly half the retail price. Thats the one I'd go for.

That's both shortsighted and untrue.
Hi, I thought you are experienced in the choice of lenses, can you give me a couple of recommendations? <Awe>
I not so far ago started to make photos, and I'm not very experienced in the choice of various tools for cameras, such as flashlights, portable light, lenses, etc.
I recently discovered the world of macro photography. It's so interesting - to photograph seemingly ordinary things at maximum approximation! When a small twig on a tree turns into a huge city with "skyscrapers" and its unusual inhabitants. <Love>
I was given a Nikon 3300 with an AF-P DX Nikkor 18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6G
And in the process of macro shooting, it is not very convenient. I would like to ask for helping me with choosing a macro lens to this camera.
I looked on the Internet, but frankly, I realized that by myself I will not understand anything.
I absolutely do not understand what distinguishes some lenses from each other and what is worth paying attention to when choosing it. On the web, there is a huge number of different surveys on cameras and lenses to them, I even found several reviews devoted directly to macro-lenses. But .. I still do not understand how they differ from each other)
All of them are not that expensive, but I would not want to spend money just buying a lens that does not suit.
If I have to tell you some additional information I'm waiting for questions, `cause I do not even know about what to report in such cases) I can only say with certainty that I'm just a novice and I do not understand much yet, but I want to learn.
Thank you in advance)

To follow up on the Nikon comments:

Every maker is re-known for making 'special lens' within its range. Nikon is noted for its professional zooms and large fixed lens'. Canon is known for its 'Sports' lens'. Fuji have produced a series of prime lens that are second to none (and I include Leica's in there). So choosing a system is not easy. Had a lot of fun with this one; didn't like the evening sky so I changed it.

No it was ground to air. Using a Sigma 100-500. Tight crop and it looks like he's peeling away.

Love the black and white one Haswell. I'm guessing you were in another aircraft for the one of the jet right?

Agreed. I used Nikons exclusively until I changed to the much lighter Fuji mirrorless system. My trouble is I have a bad case of GAS.

I'd recommend a Nikon D3300 Chappy, Nikon's entry level DSLRs are much better than Canon's.

Seems like a good choice. If you are prepared to wait there is a 1300D for twenty quid less than that.

Well, this entry level DSLR comes with a basic lens that will get you started in the world of photography:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-1200D-Di ... 00IE3UR08/

I've even got that lens and it does its job absolutely fine. Whole thing seems to come to £299 on Amazon and seems to be very popular with reviewers. This ain't no pro camera but it's a great starter for a hobbyist.

Well you won't get a reasonable DSLR AND lenses for that amount. I suggest a bridge camera and the best bridges you can get are made by Fuji (IMO). They have cameras that offer a wide angle and a superzoom to get you right in on the action. Panasonic make excellent bridges too. You should be able to get a one well within your budget if you are happy to use eBay? I buy a lot of equipment on there.
