Rafa was the one thing that brought back the hope and joy I used to have for the club in the pre Pardew era
I think whilst the Pardew era was horrific in general, the players we had were exciting. The Rafa years drilled any sort of exciting play out of players and made them terrified to actually have the ball. We even looked negative in the Championship more often than not.
Whilst we weren't that entertaining to watch, I still felt like we were building towards something for the first time since we finished 5th and didn't invest. It's all been downhill in terms of apathy towards the club since then, apart from Rafa when I though we would be able to do something more than aim to finish 17th every season.

Used to bother me a lot more as well. Think Rafa killed most of my enthusiasm for the club.

Welcome acas <ok>

Tbh I found that in my teens and early 20s I’d be really pissed off when we lost, but coinciding with Ashley’s tenure every time we lose I’m indifferent to it now.

Used to be a member of Talkofthetown. Cheesy I know, but I wish I didn't give a s**t when we lose but it drops my mood - a lot. Why? Suppose being a Toon fan you get used to it.

I had looked on that website too. In others such as Ebay or Amazon, the price is very high and there are no second-hand pages that can sell it. I had thought of pages that make replicas of Thailand, but I don't trust any. Thanks for help.

Welcome <ok>

It's £25 here but the only size is small and I don't know if they ship outside the UK...

Hello! I am a follower of the Newcastle of Bilbao, Spain, for 20 years. I have decided to join this page, because I am looking for the second shirt of the 2018-2019 season, but in Spain it is impossible and on Ebay type pages it is very expensive. If anyone knows where to buy it at a reasonable price, I appreciate it.

Greetings! Aupa Newcastle!

Welcome. I'm trying to think if we've ever had any prominent Ugandan players, but can't think of any

I recall a lot of frequent posters on here many moons ago, seem to have drifted away, can't recall their usernames. Sense apathy at the moment for a lot of our fanbase , understandably so. 10,000 non renewals for season tickets tells its own story.

Not a new poster (started out on the old 606 forums, then not606 and moved here), but back after a 6 year absence. Mainly been found lurking on Newsnow, Reddit & the NUFC hashtag on Twitter.
Felt depressed enough about ongoings at our club that I needed somewhere more active to lurk & vent since the hashtag on twitter is ruined atm.
Who out of the original gang is still here? :)
