It’s that time of year when I go all nostalgic and start on my whisky minded buying frenzy.
Just bought a Fettercairn 12 yo after being persuaded after some tasting chatter in the whisky shop …..
A lovely drop
I’m on a bit of a booze break mainly due to health issues. 51 days dry as of today but definitely going to enjoy a drink or two over Xmas!
Hope that’s nowt too serious and simply improving your body housekeeping.
I would undoubtedly say I drink way too much ( binge type style around weekends ) as opposed to every day , but that leads to probably twice recommended weekly limits etc etc.
Tried sober October , couldn’t do it !!
Don’t know what that says about me but during the early festive shopping today I found a tavern and had a pint , that made me feel better, but also loosened the wallet to a degree
