Bollinger for the win. It's definitely a special occasion treat with that price tag.

Instead of Champagne, I usually pick up a Cremant from France as many of the vineyards from outside of Champagne region still make a great fizz.

One I get every Xmas is a Rose Cremant from Saumer and it's brilliant. Think it retails about £12/15 a bottle from Majestic.

It's my 40th today. And because I had to cancel all my plans because of my surgery I thought **** It and bought a bought a bottle of Bollinger.

I do quite like champagne but Bollinger really does take it to another level. At the price though, I probably won't drink it again until my 50th.
