Brewdog Liverpool is one of my favourite ones of the 8-10 that I've been to.

But yeah anfield is rough, seriously I wouldn't recommend it. Grab drinks in town then head over.

Some good pubs.
The head of steam (new owned by ppl in Newcastle, massive range)
The dispensary (small old fashioned pub)
Lion tavern (old fashioned pub)
The baltic fleet (ex smugglers pub near docks, good range of local beers)
Brewdog is u fancy that kind

It's in a residential area so choices near the ground are probably very limited or non existent.

Nice. Been there a couple of times (once we drew with a late goal, and once when Ben Arfa scored that screamer) so pretty good luck! Although it's a bit of a s*** stadium the away end is proper old school with wooden seats etc. so makes a change from all these s*** new stadiums which look the same.

Going didn't think I'd get to an away game this season so very happy with that.

Just checked and it would cost me £40 return on the train, I'd need to leave work early, and I'd need to leave before the end of the game in order to catch the last train home. I'll watch it on TV
