What's the point <laugh>

I doubt many people paid the £4.95 to watch all 4 friendlies so the club are hardly losing fistfulls of cash! It's a drop in the ocean in comparison to having paid squad players to sit in the reserves and never play.
It'll probably be becuase everyone who did pay the £4.95 would kick off again.

As the St Patricks one was also broadcast on a betting website and the stream didn't work for the Porto one so if this one was free as well people would have paid £4.95 just for the Hull game.
Serves them right for paying in the first place :bandit:

Looks like the Chron aren't showing the match anymore after the club shut down the link

I wonder if Mbemba will feature for Porto tomorrow when we play them?

The white shorts we were wearing were absolutely beaut.
The kit did look really nice, dunno if it was the lighting but it looked really vivid
and bright considering our colours, the red numbers certainly make it pop too <awe>
I really like that much white too as a change, which Juve have done a lot of the past few years I think. Not sure if the white shorts will become a frequent look, or if it was because of not clashing with Hull.

Just got back, was decent night, our fans were loud for the first half but second half went a bit quiet, for a friendly the banter and atmosphere were really good.

Longstaff looked decent, not quite there yet but didn't look too much out of place, I do worry about Woodman, he did make some decent saves but doesn't look very confident to me. Joselu was pretty anonymous barring his goal and shelveys pass for that was sublime.

Also another highlight was one of our "fans" giving it the big one and he got absolutely slaughtered by the city fans and nearly ended up crying <laugh>

Pre season never matters. Sure Sunderland beat Dortmund the season they got relegated from the PL.

Tactical defeat to show the limitations of the squad <divax>

In seriousness, with the amount of kids we're playing the result really doesn't matter.

Roberts has showed some of the ability but not the attitude to make a go of it. Attitude stunk at Gateshead like. Longstaff looks like a canny player though, needs a season in The Championship though I reckon.

Quite a few youngsters in the side again, would be nice to see one or two make the breakthrough.
