Because he wore a silly suit.

He was given literally no chance whatsoever at this club. Whether he'd have made it or not we don't know, but his season at Marseille suggests at very least he's better than Matt Ritchie, but because he hadn't settled into the league by October he's s*** and apparently a coward.
Cuz he's s***.

He did, but Guthrie had been stinking up the place for years, Thauvin was given weeks.

Why are you so angry? All because of that Sheffield performance? To be so angry about a footballer you've never met, years later, must be exhausting.
I'm not angry. I just don't like him and have no time for him.

He was pretty awful bar one game against Northampton and the tux thing was annoying. Watford away is the reason the reason though. One of the worst performances ever. He put in no effort whatsoever, didn't even pretend to make it look like he was trying. Then to top it off he faked an injury becuase he was scared of our away end. I can't recall a more cowardly performance than his that day.
Didn't Danny Guthrie do similar away to WBA a few years ago? We lost 4-1 or something (ref was awful), he messed up for one of their goals and then picked up some mysterious injury and went off? From memory he was fine.

He's a f***ing cronut. No doubt about it. A cowardly f***ing cronut. He might have a world.cup winners medal which he contributed nothing to but he was undeniably a waste of space here. Pathetic little cronut he was.

Showing hatred towards players is just moronic, whether it be an expensive signing deemed to be a flop, a homegrown player seen as being s***, or a cheap signing who's not that good. Can't stand the wankers in the crowd who sit there shouting abuse and insults at our own players during games. Those people aren't fans, they're tossers and the club would be better off without them.

It still annoys me with the suit thing as Mbemba had done the same just a couple of weeks prior, it was obviously a joke with the squad and for some reason Thauvin was the only one getting slaughtered. Also most of the accusations against him are hear say or pub gossip. I find the extreme hatred pretty absurd still
Yeah he got overly criticized for that. It was as you said initially Mbemba who done it as the squad were told to wear a suit to the matches and him not being the best at English thought suit meant tuxedo and preceded to do so. Then the next game the rest of the squad done so in unity. And then a few of the squad kept it up as a joke towards Chancel

The trouble was that we're a team who can't afford to carry a luxury player. We get results by every single player working their backside off for every point. Although talented, Thauvin was never going to do that. If we got to a point where we had better players and could control games more effectively then we could afford a player like that imo.

Much more talented than I will ever be. Achieved a hell of a lot more than I probably ever will. Earned more money so far than I could ever spunk in a even the most obscenely lecherous lifestyle. With all that I'd happily take the title of cowerdly f***ing cronut. Not that I don't disagree with you. I just doubt it even registers.

I mean, he clearly isn't.
To re-interpret a little bit. He was clearly not a good signing for us. Almost identical to the Cabella signing, after the club had clearly written him off, yet dearer and with worse hair. Was never given a proper chance and clearly never wanted to be here. Whether he can cut it in the premier league remains to be seen, and probably never will. Failed signing for us and waste of money. However, even though he's not exactly done so much towards it, he has a world cup winners medal. Nothing to sniff at.

Nah his goals per minutes in his last season was amongst the highest in the league IIRC
Outscored Martial and Falcao...
