His 1 goal in 12 Championship appearances this year isn't exactly great.
Yeah but we're desperate (or will be) <roll>

I've never thought he'd make it at the top, but from what I read he's been getting good reviews for Blackburn. Didn't realise it was only 1 in 12 tho.
I think it's because he's been utilized more as a wide player than a central forward plus he's been coming off the bench sometimes and has bagged a couple of assists already I think lower-half/mid table Championship level is were's at but I wouldn't mind him back if we do get relegated him and Gayle could prove to be lethal next year together <whistle> . Danny Graham usually leads the line for them with the in form Dack in behind him as a no.10 that's why he can't get into those positions right now.

Wonder if we've got a buy back option on Armstrong for when we're relegated.

Yeah the idea we only see it as a negative because of the missed pen is madness, we were absolutely awful that game and deserved absolutely nothing from it.
To be fair, they really didn't create much against us either. It looked like the kind of match that could have gone all day with neither team scoring.
Yep, if there was any justice both teams would have lost that game, neither deserved a point <laugh>

I've learned that by having low expectations you can never be disappointed.

I'm personally glad we got the absolute stinker game out the way there. A decent team would have put four past us, we were awful. It is a game we would have targeted to win though, not unlike villa when we went down. Can't class it as a positive.

We have had probably the most difficult start to a season playing all the top teams. We have been narrowly beaten 2-1 in each of the games by clubs who spent millions (i know spurs haven't but they have in the past few seasons). When we play the "lesser" teams and aren't taking points I'll then start to worry.
Like Cardiff?
A point away from home when you have played terrible ain't too bad. If it wasn't for the pen at the end most would have been happy to take a point away. It just seems a bad point due to missing a 93rd min pen
