Absolutely lovely and unexpected win. This shoots us right up the table and although it might be by a point or two, the massive thing is that we're four points clear from 18th.
Even better, it's five points <awe>
Don’t forget the goal difference <divadance>

I’m stunned. Can’t believe we beat Citeh! Someone please tell me this isn’t a dream!

Sorry, my bad! Even as I typed it I had a feeling I was missing a key part of the stat, I'd heard it about ten minutes before and was only half listening so no surprise I got it wrong. Plus being a dumbass doesn't help.
There was a lot to concentrate on last night!! <laugh>
Indeed, one of those rare nights where it felt good to be a Toon supporter. Hoping the feeling sticks around for a couple of days as a result of getting a few much needed signings over the line. :)

Absolutelt brilliant last night, woke up this morning thinking it had all been a dream!

Wasn't it only last season when we were 1 down to Arsenal and came back to win 2-1?

SSN just said that was the first time we've come from 1-0 down at home to win since 2006 (vs Reading).

I think the SSN stat refers to the last time we were losing at half-time and came back to win!
Yep I believe so <ok>

Also surprising that we can beat one of the best teams in Europe despite having such a s*** manager who’s been hitching a free ride on the back of a lucky CL win about 15 years ago <laugh>

<roll>

yeah when was the last time we came from behind? 2015?

Really don't want Liverpool to win the title, there are moments where I think I do then their fans open their mouths and talk absolute garbage. Seen some suggest we won last night because Klopp played mind games on Pep saying he didn't think we could beat them.

They really need to get over themselves, pricks.

...and story leaked that Almiron is on his way to Newcastle for a medical JUST in time for the match to maybe lighten the atmosphere?
I'm real late to this, but I think you were overestimating how much the club cares about the atmosphere. They could be burning effigies of Ashley and I don't think he'd even flinch at this point.

The bookings obviously a discussion point in a game where he was substituted immediately after he could've been sent off.
I thought the ref was excellent. KDB could have been sent off yes, but if so then Perez could have gone three minutes later
If De Bruyne had been rightly sent off.. the Perez incident wouldn't have existed.

I actually think KDB not being sent off is what fired up the players.

What would Perez have been sent off for? Fouling De Bruyne down the tunnel? Bottle job that he "evened up" isn't excellent refereeing.
