Not Premiership but Rolando Aarons had a good game for Sheffield Wednesday tonight in the derby. Looked lively. I hope he can regain some form and come back in to he fold, despite it being unlikely

Yeah Rafa was rightly criticised, I've no doubt had Bournemouth been a tv game the pundits would have been all over it.

That's worse than when we play against them!
..and if I recall correctly Rafa got a right slagging for his tactics in the home game in December 2017.

Just checked and we had a massive 22% possession and even had a number ot shots both on and off target as well as a few corners!
Having missed most of the PL tv coverage this weekend I can't say for sure, but I imagine Bournemouth took a lot of stick for it too. The PL app summary definitely called out that they didn't even have a shot.

Hardly believable this, but I have it on good authority!

Bournemouth v Man City - match stats.

Bournemouth

Attempts on goal 0

Attempts on target 0

Corners 0

Crosses from open play 1

Possession 18%

'Park the bus' spring to mind? (and at home too!)

Is this the start of the end of Liverpool's title hopes?
It's been coughing and spluttering for a while

Well I, for one, certainly hope so.

How often do derby matches of any type live up to the hype?

Wolves actually rested players yesterday with the afA cup in mind, they’re going for it.
I think they also did that in response to how poorly they played the last time out.

Wolves and Watford currently 7th and 8th and I think I heard/read somewhere that if one of the Manchester clubs win the FA Cup then 7th place in the league will get a Europa League place although, of course, both of them are still in the cup so could qualify by winnining it themselves.

Indeed what it must be like to have ambition.

43 points is a new record for wolves, they're gonna smash it this season
Their owner has big plans for them and not afraid to stump up the money to achieve them.
<urgh> ambition is a helluva drug
