Thanks for the help lads. I was thinking it had to be Easter or Christmas but 6/11/82 could have been mid term break and a stribg possibility. I’ll email the club too.

Have you tried emailing nufc.com (the unofficial site)? They often put stuff like this up and have a wide readership. This board might be largely a bit young to know.

My Geordie Dad who’s about to pass away at the age of 85 took me to a lot of matches when I was younger. The match I’m looking to pinpoint was the day Keegan scored an indirect free from inside the box and he told all and sundry he nearly broke the net! I thought the score was 3-0 but I can’t pinpoint the match. Any help would be appreciated as I want to tell the story in my Eulogy.
