Perez makes Garth Crooks' team of the week for what that is worth.

"Ayoze Perez: So, Marco Silva is the latest manager who thinks he can abuse the referee due to his team's inability to protect a two-goal lead and his goalkeeper's crisis in confidence?

Well, I can tell him that it wasn't Lee Mason who was responsible for his team's complete meltdown but Ayoze Perez.

The Spaniard ran Everton ragged, never lost his nerve and never gave up. Unlike Everton."

Can you do one solely on how much of a cronut Pickford is?
roses are red
posh people hunt
Kieth Flint is dead
and Pickfords a cronut

<roll>
Can't better that quatrain,
Of the Mackem birdbrain,
But I read in their programme,
Those letters on his shirt,
Sportpesa, are an anagram,
And will readily convert,
To "spot arse" with a letter spare thus,
The "P" for Pickford being surplus.

At the end Silva was miffed a tad,
A single decision made him mad,
It was Mason's decision early on,
"Jordan Pickford should have gone",
He shouted over and again,
And demanded the ref explain,
Why he had not brandished a red,
With the Toffees two goals ahead,
And claimed there would be no second-half letdown,
Had Lee Mason sent off the clown.

It's insane we are only thee points (gl bit admittedly) behind Everton in the league given the serious wedge they've spend. People rate silva but its hardly value for money right

Been on the piss in Manchester today and just seen the result! Get f***ed you blue scouse bastards!
So satisfying, there fans fighting each other on the train home as well. Typical North West fans, o e chant that they only sing when they are winning.
Their fans are so bitter as they’ll always be in the shadow of Liverpool. They’ve spent god knows how much and are 3 points ahead of us <laugh>

I had to go to work at half time, was fuming with the Pickford thing. Only checked my phone later on. Must've been a belter of a second half <laugh>

Just before half time there was a bit of a ruck. Ritchie put a cross in and the ref pointed for a corner but two of their players ended up down near the hoardings. Schar looked to be trying to get the ball for the corner but one of them kept hold of it and there was a bit of a scuffle. Somehow it ended up being a goal kick/free kick. Badly signalled by the ref and ended up with a chorus of "you don't know what you're doing".

Couldn't tell you how severe it was, I'm on the halfway line.
No, I saw it.. was watching it. I'm genuinely confused as to what the **** he was on about. Jumped for header. Nowt in it.
Oh right. Well that's three minutes of my life I'm not getting back...
