Most people don't really enjoy their jobs. His Wife and kids made him sign, I don't recall but didn't Real Madrid threaten to have him put down if he got injured again. I remember a past it Patrick Kluivert putting more effort in.
Also a 55 year old looking 22 year old Obafemi Martins,
A geriatric Mark Viduka with no pace,
And poor Michael "Horse Fiddling" Owen being forced against his will to work a couple of hours a week. All while Freddy Shepard forced him to take £100,000 + a week wages, I thought he flew his helicopter in for training and f***ed off back to wherever he lived,
I don't think he ever enjoyed playing football,
He just played for the wages, His real dream was to be a world champion at that Horse dancing thing, or he wanted to travel the world collecting seamen from Champion Stallions, Not to breed the best Racehorses, He just liked the taste of it, The Nufc club medical team told him Horse Jiz would not make him become a better dancer, Thats the real reason he refused to play, He found out Sir Alex's Racehorses seaman tasted better than any Horse he could find anywhere in Newcastle, Manchester United did not pay him in Money, Just a couple of litres of Horse Jiz every week and that was just too good of an offer to turn down,
I HAVE TO ADD ALLEGEDLY, Just in case any part of this information is inaccurate,
I heard this from a highly respected Horse Whisperer, Who says Owen is like Jeffery Epstein, Only in the Equine community,

He's got at least 3.

I’d have considered it if it had been presented in an intriguing manner about his time here - mainly because it was an interesting period in our history - but now there’s absolutely no chance of purchasing.
But he already covered his time here in his last autobiography which I also have no interest in reading...
Tbf I didn’t even know he had a previous autobiography

Really? I mean I'm not a big autobiography man anyway, but one from someone as dull as Michael Owen?

Who is it inspiring to actually buy the f***ing thing though? Mackems and Richard Keys?
Mackems can't read, don't be silly
Neither can Richard Keyes, for that matter.

I'd probably have bought the book before all of this s*** came out, no chance now.

I think sensationalism and outrage works in the short term and for things that don’t require effort (ie clicking an article) but for larger things people do boycott and decide not to fall prey to it when they have more time to contemplate. It’s hard to say which scheme is better

The problem with this sensationalism from Owen is that he's already hated by the entire nation. If you aren't a fan of one of the clubs that hate him, you probably hate him for his commentary and punditry.

I'd probably have bought the book before all of this s*** came out, no chance now.

Yeah but the sensationalism has already been serialised in those said papers (also as far as papers go the Mirror isn't bad), so given the juicy stuff is already out why would you buy Michael Owen's third (at least) autobiography? Does anyone love backstage gossip about BT Sport that much?
I knew it as soon as I saw it so I said in my most excited voice, "That is a goal". That's the secret of being a great commentator. You have to showcase your knowledege and love of the sport in a few words. As another example; it was a big game between Manchester United and PSG and when I saw that Fellaini had misplaced a pass I was quick to inform the viewers "You have to pass the ball to your teammate".

Disagree entirely. There are more fans/readers after sensationalism rather than the full story. Plus, the readership levels of The Sun, The Mirror etc show that people happily lap up complete crap and nonsense.
Agree with you. Stirring up controversy and potential readership by neutral fans is worth way more than losing Newcastle fans - who they likely thought wouldn't support him anyway.

This. I’d have been much more likely to buy the book if he’d just focused on explaining his time here rather than being a massive t*** about it. He’d have got more money and probably decreased the amount of abuse he gets online. Instead he’d gonna have less money and more abuse. It’s a terrible PR move

I mean it’s a great PR move by his publishers to easily get all this coverage tbf.
