So 4th round away to Newport or Watford in the unlikely event we get past the mighty Morecombe in the next round.

Watched highlights back there of game.

For all their possession I don't think Blackburn done much with it. Not many of the shots they had really threatened the goal and any which did Gillespie had well covered.

That Almiron pass for Fraser goal was devine. I'd also say you can see Joelinton is desperate to score and was maybe a little selfish at times which is a good trait to have for a forward but he has to choose his moments which he'll learn.

All in all 1-0 win we're through to the next round and that's all that matters

What a waste of £10 that was ffs. We were dreadful. They should have won. Joelinton woeful, CM was overrun and the blokes off the bench were useless. To top it off ASM seemed to tweak his knee near the end and had to hobble through to full time. Agree that we should have taken whatever we could for Longstaff and I very much don't expect Barlaser to still be here October 5th

We really should have fleeced Man Utd the other window with Longstaff.
He was immense against Bournemouth in a more advanced position at the end of last season. He's a forward thinking midfielder rather than a deep lying player, it's why he worked well with Hayden/Diame.
Hes so sloppy though, 9/10 he can't even make a simple pass. He's living off a good couple of months under Rafa, since then he's been nothing but a liability barring the odd ok performance when the whole team has done well.

They've been the better team while we've offered nothing, manquillo our best player
He's probably our best RB since Beye.

10 changes from the weekend and a 1-0 win and through to the next round. More than happy with that. Was never going to be a cohesive performance with that many changes and players that haven’t really played for ages.

Ok, it was our 2nd team. But fair play to Blackburn. We deserved to lose that, we were s****.

Looks like playing two bairns in the middle might not be a great idea
If he's getting frustrated with his midfield after 60 odd minutes, maybe he should make a substitution before the final ten minutes or so?

Joelinton finally finds the net, but he was offside <grr> Another great would-be-assist from Almiron though.

That through ball from Almiron was lovely. I really like the midfield player he is becoming.
