Having watched zero international football this week, all I can say is please god, I hope Southgate gets the Man U job - it’ll be hilarious <laugh>
Me too 🙏

Can you find the next Haaland with a Scottish granny please?
Why the next one? He should be tapping up the current one!
I think OT is thinking about the international future for his country, rather than for the toon with this one <laugh>

Best bit is that was a teatime kickoff, 3 hours later Wirtz scored for Germany in 7 seconds which would have broke the record otherwise...

Strange person. I love it when everyone is on summer holidays or something and I can do **** all <laugh>
I do have a day job with Viking too <laugh>

So NFF role is more side job but good fun
Well, as the saying goes "find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life" <gent>

I've never found that!

Meanwhile, Dubravka doing well...

Martin Dubravka (Slovakia):
Sat 23.03.2024 Austria (h) lost 0-2 FR
The Newcastle goalkeeper was beaten from distance by Christoph Baumgartner just six seconds after the first whistle in Bratislava - reported by various media outlets as the quickest recorded international goal.

Gordon had a decent game tonight. Shame him and the rest of the players have Southgate holding them back. I don't how you can have some of the most promising players in world football yet still play a conservative boring brand of risk aversive football.

Hopefully he ends up at Man Utd sooner rather than later for all our sakes.

I don’t mind the late season breaks like this one as there is a bit of football fatigue, and I don’t watch internationals outside of tournaments so it’s a weekend free to do other things.

The constant international breaks at the start of the season piss me off. It’s literally - 4 games, international break, 4 games international break, 5 games international break. f*** off!

Aye tbf it's nice to not have to think of NUFC for a week.

The way we have been recently I'm glad for the break. End of the season can't come quick enough for me.
