To be honest when I've seen us set up with the back 3 in a few recent games it's made me think that it's something we might see often next year. A Schlotterbeck Botman Thiaw back three with Tino and Hall as wingbacks would make a lot of sense.

Main problem though is we would only accommodate 2 in CM unless in that scenario Thiaw would step into a more defensive mid role during a match. But the glaring issue there is we have Joelinton and id personally prefer the Tonali, Bruno, Big Joe midfield.

But yeah with those mentioned from Milan, Thiaw and Tomori have definitely come up before. Either would be an interesting and exciting get I think.Maybe one of them and Schlotterbeck?

Pulisic is a big no for me. Yes he’s got talent but very patchy - is he even an out and out winger or a CAM (which doesn’t fit how we play). He’s done well at Milan but other than one quite good season at Chelsea did very little (and from memory had injury issues) in the PL.

Apparently on 150k a week too, so no thanks as he’d expect a pay rise.

Tomori is decent and at his peak now. Wage is also well under £100k p/w so we could improve that whilst not breaking the bank.

If I remember correctly we were in for Thiaw last summer before deciding to try for Guehi instead so that could be one we look at again.

I'm reluctantly happy for us to go down such a route, even though it's totally not something I'd ever dare to do on ChampManager, never ever would I do such a thing.

Yep - unfortunately it's good business (which is a shame, as it could really f*** a players career). Liverpool have done it quite well over the last few years, it's something we need to do more to get around PSR. Tosin I think could have become a first team player tbf - he's more or less coming into his prime and could have been competition for Schar at RCB.

It's a shame that Kelly never really got a chance, listened to a podcast with some Bournemouth fans when we signed him and they sang his praises.

I feel like this was all pre planned, I also get the feeling we would have done the same with Tosin. I think it would be a good idea to keep an eye on some more free transfers this coming summer as I think we will try something similar again maybe.

Mitchell played a blinder with this one.

I assume agent fees etc would have been high but it wasn't working out and he's now one of our highest sales we've had.
